Inhomogeneous stationary and oscillatory regimes in coupled chaotic oscillators

We show that two coupled identical (or nearly identical) Pikovsky-Rabinovich chaotic oscillators can demonstrate complete synchronization (CS), as well as inhomogeneous oscillation death (OD) in coexistence with CS. As the coupling strength decreases, the inhomogeneous solutions evolve from OD to the regular limit cycle, then to beating-like oscillations, and eventually to inhomogeneous chaotic oscillations. All of them coexist with CS and preliminary results about their basins are presented.
