The prototypes of the cut-off switch for 400 V direct current power distribution. They have functions of arc extinguishing and electric shock prevention. Evaluation of load switching is conducted with the prototypes and it is confirmed that they have enough capability of arc extinguishing. For future, it is scheduled that the product shape and specification will be reviewed for user’s needs and international standardization.
