The basic principle of Hydrogen Fuel Cell (FC) system and different kinds of Hydrogen FC systems are introduced at first in this paper. Moreover, some important points of FC system application in telecommunications are analyzed. The first point is FC system start up time, when Grid is off, FC system need time to start up, how to guarantee the uninterruptable power supply on the load terminal. The second one is how to coordinate FC system well with power system already exist and how to ensure the whole power system reliability. The third one is study on system efficiency. The last point, it is focus on FC system safety issues and cost. Finally, further study on FC system application in telecommunications is introduced.
