We investigate 2x2 MIMO filter performance in Nyquist systems. A novel acquisition algorithm is developed and experimentally verified that compensates for a residual impulse response of Nyquist signal. A Q-factor gain of up to 0.6 dB is achieved in back-to-back, 1500 km and 2000 km real link Nyquist transmission experiments.
