Inhalt:
In this paper an adaptation of link performance model for Filter Bank Based Multicarrier (FBMC) transmission in Professional Mobile Radio (PMR) network in highly frequency selective environment is evaluated. The effective signalto- interference-noise-and-distortion ratio (SINDR) is proposed to use as a quality measure of resource elements for effective SINDR mapping. The results show that a mutual information function is preferable due to its highest accuracy in terms of BLER prediction. The result demonstrate that the adapted MIESM approach allows to evaluate the performance of FBMC transmission in PMR network in accurate and simple manner and relatively independent of the channel type.
