Parallel robots e.g. the ABB FlexPicker are tested in practice regarding velocity, handling weight and work space for a particular application. The influence of these factors on the achievable performance of these robots is only roughly predictable before installation. This paper presents a regression analysis for the daily use of engineers in order to estimate the cycle time for a large variety of use cases. The results of the analysis are implemented in a software tool.
