This paper establishes a geometry model using a circular arc to approximate a curved trajectory segment in spaceborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) case. An application example of this proposed geometry model in attitude steering control is given out. The simulation results validate the accuracy of the proposed geometry model and the effectiveness of the attitude steering method. Further analysis of spaceborne SAR properties based on the proposed geometry model needs in-deep research.
