Inhalt:
In many industrial processes, anisotropic material parameters play an important role. Ultrasonic methods are an universal and exact way to determine directional dependent material properties. In order to improve the limitations in applicability and significance of classic ultrasound methods, laser-based ultrasound systems were developed with which bulk longitudinal and surface Rayleigh waves with a high bandwidth were measured. With these measurement systems the texture coefficients W400, W420 and W440 of a rolled aluminum plate were measured. The laser-based measurement systems can be used in industrial processes in order to monitor texture parameters.
