Inhalt:
We propose a hybrid encryption scheme with key partitioning and secret mixing to strengthen security. We use an asymmetric-key encryption, such as the elliptic curve cryptography (ECC), to protect the transmission of symmetric keys, such as AES keys, in the key agreement process. Symmetric keys are partitioned, mixed together, and encapsulated by an asymmetrickey algorithm. Key partitioning helps increasing the amount of security in a linear manner, whereas the secret mixing prevents partial key exposure attacks from the enemy. We also implement the scheme and show its performance.
