Inhalt:
Landslides are often caused by severe rains or typhoons, or earthquake. After landslide or erosion, the surface becomes bare soil. It is known that bare soil surface exhibits the surface scattering. If the polarimetric scattering nature is different from those of surroundings, the landslide area can be recognized easily. After the scattering power decomposition, the surface scattering area is color-coded to red in this paper. It is shown that this colorcoding is suited for visual recognition of landslide areas using the polarimetric scattering decomposition of fully polarimetric data.
