The ground segment of the KOMPSAT-6 (KOrea Multi-Purpose SATellite-6) system has been designed to have functionalities such as monitoring the state of health (SOH) of the satellite, programming and control for the operation, receiving and processing synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data to provide standard products to users. This paper addresses conceptual design and procedures for KOMPSAT-6 ground segment considering operational aspects.
