Inhalt:
This paper proposes a clutter suppression and parameter estimation method in WAS-GMTI (Wide Area Surveillance, Ground Moving Target Indication) mode based on the Relax algorithm. After analyzing the signal model of WAS-GMTI mode, an iterative clutter suppression method combining with the Relax algorithm is presented. Compared with the conventional Space Time Adaptive Processing (STAP), the proposed method has better clutter suppression performance in the nonhomogeneous environment since it has no need to estimate the clutter plus noise covariance matrix. Besides, based on the results of clutter suppression and CFAR (Constant False Alarm Rate) detection, precision parameter estimation can be realized if the iterative search is continued in the range-Doppler cells with the detected targets. Finally, the proposed method is validated by digital simulations.
