Inhalt:
This paper describes two high resolution bistatic SAR experiments performed with the HITCHHIKER receiver system of the University of Siegen. The first experiment is a spaceborne stationary configuration utilizing the TerraSAR-X staring spotlight (ST) mode while the second experiment is an airborne stationary configuration. In 2014 we were given the opportunity to join a very high resolution tomographic SAR experiment performed by Fraunhofer FHR,Wachtberg, Germany. In this experiment a Transall C-160 airplane equipped with the PAMIR sensor was taking a stack of SAR acquisitions on linear trajectories with a vertical separation. The HITCHHIKER receiver system was used to record three bistatic images for each trajectory also with a vertical baseline.
