In recent years, different distributed energy management algorithms have been presented. These are necessary to enable a reliable sustainable power supply in the future. Thereby, algorithms can follow different goals like peak clipping or load shaping. This publication compares the algorithms COHDA, PowerMatcher and PrivADE in their efficiency of reaching these different goals. This is supported by the simulation tool SiENA.
