Inhalt:
This paper presents a probabilistic security-constrained optimal power flow (pSCOPF) formulation taking into account uncertainties from wind power feed-in. Uncertainties are modelled as scenarios, which enables the consideration of intertemporal constraints, such as power gradients and activation times, as well as the direct manipulation of uncertain quantities. Furthermore, preventive, curative and post-contingency control schemes of remedial measures are implemented to simulate an optimized way of coping with uncertainties. This is to wait as long as possible and apply remedial actions only if critical deviations from anticipated system states actually occur. Yet, unmanageable system states must be avoided. The applicability of the pSCOPF model is demonstrated on a large-scale model of the European transmission grid. Thereby, exemplary simulations of the congestions management under consideration of redispatch, HVDC control and Phase-Shifting-Transformers (PST) as well as current constraints are carried out. The results show the beneficial impact of flexible transmission assets on transmission grid operation.
