In this paper advanced techniques are presented for both amplitude and phase calibration in MIMO Radar systems. The effectiveness of such techniques is demonstrated against a real data-set collected by means of a MIMO Radar prototype fully developed at ARESYS srl, Milan. In particular, the paper focuses on the calibration of two distinct features of the system: the antenna radiation pattern and the inter-channel spurious phase shift. Moreover, high precision electric actuators (both pan&tilt positioners and linear units) are exploited to obtain an adequate angular measurement sector.
