D-InSAR and SBAS techniques were used to identify two possible landslide sites near Xinmo village, Maoxian, Sichuan Province, China from 2015 to 2017. The pattern of the deformation-time curve of either site was similar to that of the typical rock/soil creep-time curve that is widely used to study landslide. As shown in this study, key factors to indicate a possible landslide event were the magnitude and rate of the deformation. Therefore, with the further investigation, one might identify potential landslide events in other locations using InSAR techniques and multi-temporal SAR datasets.
