This paper provides an overview of the TerraSAR-X/PAZ constellation, where two independent X-Band SAR mis-sions work together to form a constellation of similar satellites, providing operational services starting 2018. Hisdesat and Airbus Defence and Space have teamed up to establish key features to bring all the benefits of a true constella-tion to users. Joint operations and use concepts were developed for the missions to be operated as a constellation. Im-portant customer needs are related to data ageing, update frequency, and coverage. This paper also gives an update of the current status of the TSX/PAZ Mission post-launch.
