Inhalt:
Variations of atmospheric conditions cause Atmospheric Phase Screen (APS) in Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR), which affects accuracy and reliability of its applications. Recent studies reveal that empirical models, auxiliary data (GPS, MERIS, etc.) and atmospheric models can mitigate tropospheric delays in some case studies. The method of using GAM is considered the state of the art and an ongoing evolving technique. As the resolution and accuracy of GAM products are improved significantly, using these products to correct tropospheric delays is promising. Here we explore the performance of three different GAM datasets on correcting Sentinel-1 interferograms in a mountainous and coastal area of Tenerife island, Spain.
