The radiometric accuracy and long-term stability is analyzed for Sentinel-1A and Sentinel-1B. Therefore, a continuous time series with the Interferometric wide-swath mode is acquired for a period of several months. The radiometric performance is derived from point target responses and distributed targets with specific radiometric characteristics. From point target evaluations a high radiometric accuracy is found for both SAR systems. While S-1B shows a very stable behavior, slight performance trends are detected for S-1A. Similar results are observed for the distributed targets, except for very low backscatter. In this case for S-1A a higher radar cross section is derived compared to S-1B.
