The introduction of artificial intelligence technology into spaceborne SAR system is becoming a potential research direction. This intelligent system can realize rapid, accurate and flexible image data acquisition. In this paper, the design concept of intelligent SAR with real-time processing, automated task planning and imaging mode optimization is proposed. The system architecture and operation process of the intelligent SAR are described. Then it is focused on the problem of automated planning for target observation. A method based on reinforcement learning is proposed for solving the problem, and later an example for algorithm simulation is given.
