Maximum power point trackers are a key element in all photovoltaic systems. There is a variety of different applications, each with particularly suited MPPT solutions and architectures. This paper proposes an integrated MPPT suited for submodular power optimizers exposed to rapid irradiance fluctuation. Thereby, the MPPT enables for an increase of efficiency e.g. in building and infrastructure integrated photovoltaics.
