Inhalt:
The multichannel extension of the conventional ScanSAR, combined with SCan-On-REceive (SCORE), is a preferential operational mode for future high-resolution wide-swath SAR systems. This paper investigates novel solutions to further improve the achievable performance of this mode and/or reduce the associated system complexity, based on an innovative exploitation of radar signal bandwidth and pulse repetition frequency (PRF). The rational of the proposed approaches is explained, the achievable performance numerically analyzed, advantages and trade-offs discussed.
