              Inhalt:
The electrification of the transportation sector requires a detailed consideration of electric vehicles in energy system models. An integral part of these models are unit commitment optimizations, which determine the operation of conven-tional power plants and storage systems, taking into account cross-border electricity trade. In this context a model was developed considering controllable charging processes on the basis of real traffic data within an unit commitment opti-mization. Results show a distinctive utilization of flexibility regarding both the integration of renewable energy systems and total system costs.
