Inhalt:
We analyze message identification via single-user multi-antenna Gaussian channels, which is part of the Post Shannon theory. For applications like machine-to-machine and human-to-machine communications, the identification approach of Ahlswede and Dueck is much more efficient than the classical message transmission scheme proposed by Shannon. Previous studies concentrate mainly on identification over discrete channels. We consider Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) Gaussian channels and provide a single-letter characterization on the corresponding identification capacity. We provide an efficient signal-processing scheme. This scheme allows us to separate signal-processing and Gaussian coding.
