This paper demonstrates the coherent handling of the polarimetric information from multiple baselines for the forest height inversion. The proposed algorithm searches for the volume and ground scattering mechanisms, which are represented in terms of polarimetric state vector. The validation of the obtained inversion results at the L-band is performed against LIDAR measurements.
