The LuTan-1 satellite synthetic aperture radar (SAR) antenna employs active phased array with dual polarization and two-dimensional scanning ability. The SAR antenna system architecture and modular design scheme are introduced in this paper. By using TD/T/R integrated modules with high efficiency and antenna subarrays with low cross-polarization, the performance of the antenna system can meet the requirements of various imaging modes of spaceborne SAR.
