Recently, Japan’s aging population and declining birthrate intensified, causing workforce shortages. Additionally, the Corona disaster necessitated noncontact customer service, which was required to be handled on-site. Growing expectations that robots can solve these problems occur, especially in the field of service robots. Various research institutes and companies recently conducted robotics research to solve these problems, and innovative systems have been developed to solve them. We have been researching to make robots play a wider role by linking multiple robot control middleware and using the functions of each robot. In this study, we developed a prototype collaborative system and conducted a basic experiment on mobile robots for patrolling and guidance in a store, by linking the data of three systems: Node-RED, OpenRTM-aist, and ROS. It is considered that a non-technical worker at the store to use the robots easily.
