The MICA(TM) linear actuator technology (Moving Iron Controllable Actuator) is being continuously improved at CEDRAT TECHNOLOGIES (CTEC) for applications needing high controllable stroke, force, and power. The MICA20CS Proof Mas Actuator is a new actuator model, which is now completing the CTEC Proof Mass Actuator family together with the MICA300CM. The MICA300CM was designed to provide 300N inertial force in the [30h - 50Hz] frequency range with CSA96 drive electronics, whereas the MICA20CS has been designed for 20N in same frequency range, and with the new CMAmu10 drive electronics providing low power with 24V and 0,5A. This paper presents the design and test results of both MICA20CS and CMAmu10 derive electronics, as well as the results of ongoing MICA300CM fatigue lifetime demonstration after five years of nonstop demonstration with frictionless flexure bearing technology.
