Inhalt:
Existing energy management systems of battery storage systems cannot always consider appropriately the individual local situation of load and generation. This can lead to an inefficient behavior of the energy system. In order to compensate this, an external energy management system is designed in this paper for an existing battery storage system at the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer. For validation, a new probabilistic peak shaving strategy was developed, implemented and tested in practice. The results showed that the evolved energy management system works well and that the applied probabilistic peak shaving strategy could even cope with stress situations.
