A flexible system is presented for different tasks in the area of condition monitoring for electric drives, as well as for machines and production processes. In particular, it makes use of the possibilities offered by modern servo controllers in the field of signal acquisition and data processing, and is also particularly efficient due to this "smart data instead of big data" approach. Results are shown for different applications, such as the detection of bearing and gear damages, but also for monitoring of machine movements and production processes.
