Inhalt:
Lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) are widely used in drug delivery systems and have gained significant attention in the field of microfluidics. Coaxial lamination mixers (CLM) using 2-photon polymerization ensure stable lipid nanoparticle precipitation without problems of foudling. These mixers were designed to prevent the organic phase from contacting the microchannel walls, while enhancing its mixing with the aqueous phase. By means of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and numerical evaulation of mixing results, the mixing behaviour has been studied. The Properties of nanopartices produced by microfliudic antisolvent nanoprecipitation has been can be predicted.
