With the high-resolution capabilities of state-of-the-art radar sensors, constantly new fields of application are opened up. To be able to provide these resolutions, more and more complex hardware implementations of the sensors are required. However, the hardware implementation is only half the battle. To achieve maximum performance in the final application, high-precision calibration is also required. After the sensors assembly, a precise measuring station is usually available to ensure this. However, as the sensor changes its properties with changing environmental influences during the application, subsequent re-calibration without a precise measuring station becomes challenging. In this paper, an innovative algorithm that exploits the large number of channels of state-of-the-art sensors is presented.
