Simple Single-Side Band Generation Scheme

This paper introduces a novel SSB generation technique that minimizes hardware complexity and energy consumption. Tested with plasmonic-organic modulators, we show how it allows to extend direct detection transmission over 80 km or how it can save spectrum in a 230 GHz wireless link.
