Inhalt:
We propose a simple configuration, low coupling gap-filler that can re-transmit signals at the same frequency in which they were received to enhance service areas for next-generation satellite communication networks. To suppress coupling between the receiving and transmitting antennas, this gap-filler uses two transmitting antennas that form a null in the direction of the receiving antenna by controlling the amplitude and phase of one transmitting antenna. Results of simulations and field experiments show that the proposed on-frequency gap-filler is feasible and can greatly suppress coupling.
