Inhalt:
An experimental setup for the optical analysis of chemo sensitive polymer films is described. Appropriate polymeric thin films are covered by micro fluidic cuvette made of glass and silicon. Images of this cuvette were taken by a high resolution CCD camera equipped with an appropriate optical filters system. The measurement mode can be shifted from transmission to fluorescence by changing the optical light path. Filters are placed automatically in the excitation and emission light path. The cuvette is connected to an automatic probe sampler and syringe pump. Complete experimental cycles are fully programmed and controlled by a Lab-View application. Here we describe the diffusion behaviour of a cross-linked polyethyleneglycole hydro gel film crafted on glass. Kinetic measurements were done using Fluoresceine. The loading and releasing was observed by the change in the fluorescence intensity.
