Inhalt:
The switching losses are important in switching technology as the leading technology in electric energy conversion. Since the power switch cells show much better switching performance as it is being reached nowadays by power switch devices in the power converters, improvements are possible. This paper will present how to fully take advantage of the power switch properties by a driving method – NZID driving principle. The analysis supported by the experimental results will show the switching behavior of power switches in a power converter achieving a stable interlock delay as short as 5 nsec.
