Inhalt:
This paper introduces a high efficient circuit (η ˜ 98,1%) for feeding back regenerative power from frequency inverters into the grid. The circuit essentially consists of a synchronous rectifier and a buck converter with an additional regenerative snubber circuit. Due to the regenerative snubber circuit a high switching frequency can be achieved without the disadvantage of high switching losses. The circuit can be connected between the DC link and the mains to control the regenerative power. As a major advantage compared to active front end converters the uncontrolled rectifier of the frequency inverter can be preserved.
