Inhalt:
Thermal interface materials (TIMs) have one sole purpose, to displace the air between a power module and the baseplate with a higher thermally conductive material. An ideal thermal interface will minimize thermal impedance between the device and heat sink and without significant degradation in performance for the life of the inverter. Some of the key challenges include reliability and repeatability over the life and between modules while ensuring no significant additions to the processing steps. eGRAF(r) HITHERM(TM) HT-C3200 Compressible graphite (HT-C3200) addresses both the initial performance and maintains the same levels over the life of the modules while significantly simplifying the application process.
