A high efficiency(98.3%) , high power density, LLC 380v to 52v dc/dc converter utilizing 600V 0.07ohm E-Mode GaN switches will be presented. The E-Mode GAN enables high frequency switching frequency, while achieving both 140w/ inch^3 power density & 98.3% efficiency. The circuit design will be discussed , emphasizing the fast switching property of the E mode GAN which renders both high power density and high efficiency. The LLC circuit utilizing E-Mode GaN in the primary will be discussed as well.
