Inhalt:
Bio-inspired robotics is a continuously growing research field that aims at both finding simple and innovative solutions for common problems in Robotics and to improve our knowledge in understanding neural circuitries in living beings. Among the different animal species, a considerable effort was invested in the insect world. New results are continuously unravelling the insect behavioral capabilities and provide precious information to develop autonomous robotic systems able to deal with complex dynamically changing environments.
