The paper presents a developed principle of a double-loop controlled inverter used in grid-tied photovoltaic conversion systems. A block diagram of the developed power conversion system and primary equations are described. A prototype of a 6.7 kVA output power inverter was developed and tested. The derived experimental results are provided and analyzed. This paper may be interesting for engineers developing power conversion systems which comprise PV-panels and a grid-tied inverter.
