Inhalt:
This paper presents a study of a method to assess magnetic leakage fields of a 7 kW wireless electric vehicle charging (WEVC) system. The leakage field was measured in different test configurations and environments. These measurements were then used to validate simulation models. A comparison between assessing single measurement points and the azimuth pattern around the WEVC system was done while varying the test environment, configurations and parameters. These results will be used to support discussion and recommendation in standards bodies related to the measurement of the magnetic leakage field of WEVC systems.
