In this paper, the control of a unity power factor rectifier with an adaptive predictive current control structure, realized in the natural frame, is presented. The control structure is easy to implement and requires only low computational effort. Nevertheless, it offers very good results regarding THDi and power factor. The hardware is based on a LCL-filter, a single phase leg and a divided dc link, where the neutral is connected to the midpoint. Due to the applied hardware setup, the presented control structure can be easily adapted to three-phase four-wire systems.
