In this paper, we demonstrated a low-cost laser speckle contrast imaging (LSCI) system using smartphone. An OpenGL-algorithm was developed to process the raw images captured by a smartphone camera and display the calculated blood flow images on the mobile smartphone. Compared with the images calculated by Matlab, the OpenGL-algorithm obtained the same results. Thus, the portable smartphone-based LSCI system is capable of acquiring blood flow images and serves as a promising approach for clinical diagnosis.
