Research on exercise load quantification of school children based on intensity coefficient method

The purpose of the article is to explore the scientific monitoring and evaluation methods of the key links of the physical exercise load of primary and secondary school students. A total of 297 pupils from different classes in a primary school were selected as research subjects. The pupils were divided into intervention group and control group and were tested on 8 physical indicators. Heart rate and different intensity of exercise time were collected as the basic composition index of exercise load. The exercise load was calculated by intensity coefficient method. Finally, the statistical analysis of the data was carried out by SPSS software. The result shows that there was no significant difference in physical fitness between the intervention group and the control group before and after the experiment. The changes of exercise load in physical education before and after intervention in intervention group were significantly higher than those in control group (p<0.05), and the physical exercise time and exercise load in intervention class after intervention was significantly higher than those before intervention (p<0.01). The quantitative evaluation of exercise load has been realized, and the effective monitoring of sports effect of school children has been completed. The experimental results have great significance to guide the students’ sports.
