Inhalt:
To serve the requirements of industry 4.0 standards, modern sensor systems should possess the possibility to measure process parameters, evaluate the measured data, and communicate with industry machines for optimization of the product quality. The corresponding sensors can be a part of an industry machines (or production lines) or embedded in the produced goods (at least until the end of production). As a part of produced products, they should use wireless data communication with the processing machines use advanced power saving techniques. The Sensor Technology Department of Paderborn University in cooperation with Fraunhofer ENAS and multiple industry partners are developing such a sensor platform with above-mentioned functionalities.
