This paper presents the advantages and signal processing of integrated On-Chip Current sensor and Temperature sensor of 750V 800A VE_TracTM Dual Side Cooling (DSC) IGBT module NVG800A75L4DSC for enabling fast over current and over temperature protection in traction inverter applications for HEV/EV .The functional working of an On-Chip current sensor, with different methods of processing the On-Chip current sensor signal and temperature sensor to true IGBT Junction correlation under steady state operation for Dual Side Cooling (DSC) IGBT power module has been presented in this paper
