Inhalt:
Pressureless silver sinter material was prepared with nano-sized silver particles. Microstructural and mechanical properties of the pressureless sintered silver were studied. The Microstructure of the pressureless sintered silver consisted of pores less than 1 µm in size and a silver matrix that silver nanoparticles sintered each other. After a high temperature exposure test conducted at 250 ºC and for 1000 h, it showed no substantial change in microstructure and showed constant Young’s moduli of 14 GPa. The pressureless sintered silver material in this work did not show any embrittlement and an increase in pore size after the high temperature exposure test, which demonstrated that the material has stable mechanical properties at a temperature of 250 ºC.
