Our goal is to study the effects of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) on the cardiovascular system through hemodynamic parameters such as blood pressure and radial pulse spectroscopy.242 women of childbearing age participated in this cross-sectional study and received standard blood pressure measurement and non-invasive radial pulse wave measurement. The harmonic amplitudes of the radial pulse wave were calculated by the Fourier method. Women with PCOS have been diagnosed according to the Rotterdam PCOS Consensus. The results showed no significant difference in systolic and diastolic blood pressure between women with and without PCOS. This study proved that women with PCOS have higher mean body mass index, heart rate, C2 and C4 compared to other normal women. Logistic regression analysis showed that body mass index and C2 were two important risk factors for PCOS.
